Description
The Hatchin' Yoshi is an interactive electronic toy manufactured by Spin Master in partnership with Nintendo and Illumination, tied to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and retails for $59.99. Once out of its egg, the Yoshi figure measures 5.9 H x 4.25 W x 5.75 L; the hatching sequence is triggered by tapping, knocking, or rocking the egg, after which the egg rocks side-to-side autonomously before cracking open and Yoshi pops out saying Yoshi!. Post-hatching, the toy responds to touch on the head or nose with light-up eyes and body movement, and responds to the user's voice when the shell is pressed, with the bottom half of the egg serving as a permanent display stand.
